The Artist's Journey

Darlene Gait is a member of Esquimalt Nation who has explored the arts since childhood. Mastery across diverse mediums defines her practice, while the meaningful connections formed with her collaborators enrich her creative palette.

Artist Statement

My work is a bridge between the whispers of our ancestors and the structural language of the modern world. Through sculptural design, I seek to honor the sacred geometry of our heritage and create landmarks that breathe with the spirit of the land.
